Antenatal Hydrotherapy

Want to sleep better and keep fit and healthy during your pregnancy? 

During pregnancy, fitness levels commonly decline as exercise becomes more difficult. This can make childbirth and life as a new mum a lot more exhausting.


Our antenatal hydrotherapy sessions are the perfect solution.  Not only will you sleep better, you will be reducing your risk of gestational diabetes and hypertension and improving your mental health.

Fracture Management

Got a broken bone? Movement For Life Physiotherapy are one of the few providers in Darwin to offer a private plastering and splinting service.  We can apply plaster and fibreglass casts, and offer waterproof Donjoy Exos splints for stable wrist and thumb fractures, ligament injuries and wrist arthritis - perfect for swimming in and the tropics!

Lower Limb Rehabilitation

Now in its 14th year, this 60 minute exercise class is unique to Movement For Life Physiotherapy. We offer this class 2 times per week and take small groups of patients recovering from leg injuries or surgery to the hip, knee and ankle.

Functional Strength & Conditioning

Movement For Life Physiotherapy provides practical, functional strength and conditioning programs, assisting people to get back to the things they love to do, be that work, sport or hobbies. 



We provide professional advice to workplaces on safe ergonomics and manual handling, and through our involvement with the Motor Accident Compensation (MAC) arm of the Territory Insurance Office (TIO) and local Workers Compensation Insurers, we have successfully assisted many clients to return safely and effectively to work.

Post Surgery

Here at Movement for Life Physiotherapy, we have a long history of providing physiotherapy services to post-surgical patients, including 12 years of inpatient services at Darwin Private Hospital between 2004 and 2016.


All of our physio's are skilled at managing a range of post surgical presentations, from rotator cuff surgery of the shoulder, to ACL reconstruction and hip and knee replacements.

Sports Physiotherapy

Everyday in Australia, thousands of people are participating in sport. Whether it be going for a brisk walk in the evening, tackling a steep track on you mountain bike, sweating it out at footy training or working out in the gym.
